What is the Morning Constitutional?

For the uninitiated, the name the Morning Constitutional is a poop joke.

So, why name this new blog space for a poop joke? There are a few reasons. The first is that a good, well-timed poop joke is funny. The second is more professional. I, personally, like writing. I fall into the old trope of wanting to do something for the soul of it. I want to read writing that has something to it instead of the constant deluge of disposable takes from people collecting a paycheck.

It’s also a space for some of my friends, writers who simply need a professional-looking space for their work and a moderately professional eye to make sure the thoughts they’re putting out there make sense. 

I can’t say I’m starting this blog with any clear goals in mind. I want simple writing, relevant thoughts, jokes, brain worms, and everything in between. As it stands, expect two to three posts per week and maybe more if I have a slow week at work.
